 I was glancing at one of the vintage trailer pages on Facebook and someone had mentioned a vintage trailer for sale on eBay. I went to look at it and fell in love with the "train car" interior. I began communicating with the owner, Chris, to establish possible purchase and down payments. I first had to establish how I was going to transport it 3,000-miles from Florida to Southern California. In the early 70s, my dad was able to do with with a 35' Spartan, so why couldn't I?

1953 Lutes King Coach! Award winner at 2020 Tin Can Tourists Annual Convention.

One of only four Lutes trailers known to exist, of which two are roadworthy. This truly is a rare trailer. Purchased several months ago. Selling because we have decided to sell a few items in our collection.

The exterior is understood to be mainly original paint with original pinstriping. Roof was removed, inspected and resealed by prior owner and structure and insulation found to be pristine. Roof end caps sanded and primed to protect them. Absolutely no leaks.

The inside is a time capsule and in terrific original condition. Original "cracked ice" kitchen counter. Wood is beautiful. Tons of storage. No range. Cabinet installed in its space for additional storage. Wall unit AC installed by PO with decorative grille. Can be easily removed for access to curb side counter and window. Refrigerator refurbished – note spaces for eggs and bottles in the door. Tub and shower, new sink and porta-potty in bathroom. Our plan was to install a regular toilet if we kept the trailer longer.

Tires are two years old. Original light fixtures have been reconditioned and work. original 20A power input and modern 30A with new breaker panel feeding appliances. Sold complete with most furnishings for asking price.
