Air Conditioner
It's July in Southern California, so first things first, I need to move the air conditioner. It was clever how it was installed in the small nook next to the refrigerator, however, I wanted every inch of counter space made available. So here is what was originally there. The AC was resting on the counter, thankfully, on a board to prevent scratches. The top cover portion had a small chalk board attached. The cold air blew into the kitchen and did not have a good flow toward the living room or bedroom. Original AC location—wanted the space. Removal was pretty straightforward, seeing all the rocking and rolling it did in the move did half the deconstruction work. Time to reveal the window hiding behind the AC. The removal of the AC unit from the nook revealed the window behind it, plus the untouched cracked ice Formica. I was very pleased to see that this counter was in good shape.
